Aug 09, 2011

Become a Verizon Thinkfinity Trainer!

This free train-the-trainer session is intended for educators and technology integration specialists who are interested in becoming Thinkfinity Trainers. Thinkfinity Trainers are educators prepared to train other educators to help them integrate Verizon Thinkfinity’s amazing resources into the curriculum.

At thinkfinity.org, you'll discover a breadth and depth of reliable, top-quality content and proven lesson plans created by 11 Consortium Partners - the most respected organizations in each academic subject. The easy to navigate K-12 resources are grade-specific and lesson plans are always aligned with state standards.

The consortium partners include: Read Write Think, Illuminations, ARTSEDGE, National Geographic Education, Science NetLinks, EDSITEment, and Smithsonian’s History Explorer.

Session topics include an overview of Thinkfinity and its partner sites. Attendees will have opportunities to collaborate with other professionals to discuss various training strategies and will create customized training plans for implementing Thinkfinity within their schools.
